Our Mission
The DKMD Believers Foundation exists to carry forward Deana's legacy of generosity, support, and belief in the power of people, especially children, to rise, grow, and thrive.
Through this foundation, we will provide scholarships and financial assistance to boys and girls (K-12) who want to participate in M14Hoops programming, including teams, camps, clinics, training, and our strength & conditioning program, but whose families may not have the financial means to do so.
No child should be turned away from the opportunity to develop their potential, build confidence, and be part of something bigger than themselves. Deana believed that. And so do we.
WHY WE BELIEVE
Deana is known by all who love her as someone who showed up; especially in times of need. Even in her hardest moments, she chose joy, she chose others, and she chose to celebrate the good in life.
This foundation is not about her illnesses; it's about her impact. It's about honoring her name by continuing the work she lived out every day; lifting others up.
